Many signs prohibiting graffiti are plastered all over Shibuya, Tokyo. One of them said, "No Posters, No Graffiti. Promoting landscape beautification for a more livable city." However, this signage itself also is a kind of poster, a kind of graffiti that ruins the landscape. I replicated the various no graffiti signs in Shibuya and displayed the canvases on the city walls.
I meditate on beauty at the very site where the beauty battle occurs.
